Womens question...anyone got implanon?!
Question: I got implanon put in my arm 2 years ago and since around November i have been having one week of a period, one week free, and then another week of a period. It goes on like this. Its really annoying. Anyone know if there is a way to regulate this? Or would i have to get it removed? One week off is not enough when you only see your boyfriend now and again!!!

Implanon effects us all differently, my first one i had light periods with for the first year or so, and ive had nothing since i got it replaced last may! i think its fab but not everyone gets on well, best thing to do is speak to your gp about it
You need to see a doctor, you should only have one period per month or so. Somethings wrong.
when i had it i did not get a period for nearly 2 & a half years, i would recommend you get it taken out, it agress with some people and others it dosent, you may have to try a few different types to find out what suits you best
It sounds like your body is overriding the chemicals established by the implant. You need to see your doctor; the only method I know that MIGHT help would be subsidizing with birth control pills to help alleviate the bleeding. But if you've got to go the route of pills, you may as well just switch entirely to pills & have the implant removed.

i was on it and i spent 6 months off then 2 months on.....seriously its awful, i'd get it removed. ......but thats just me
