Population control pill issue?!

Question: So I'm 16 and I have a boyfriend and i need the pill, now because:
I gray out from the pain of cramps, and i spend half my day in school in the bathroom throwing up, and my cycle is irregular. I had one month where i was on it the entire month, then the next 6 off of it (TMI i know). I've hear that the pill clears up your face and makes your chest bigger.
Now my parents will think i only want the pills because i want to have sex with my boyfriend without consiquences, but that isn't happening untill after we're out of high school.
What are some arguments i can use to make my parents approve of me needing this?

bring it up with your doctor and ask if he/she thinks it will help, if they agree, ask if they will explain to your parent(s) (you would probably prefer it to be your mother) how it would help you and how serious your condition is. Even if they don't agree that the pill is the best option, the doctor my be able to find a treatment for you or do tests to find the cause. I think that approaching your parents with your menstrual problems and asking for medical attention (without mentioning the pill until after you speak to the doctor about it) will be received better than just asking for the pill. Also, there could be a more serious problem causing these issues that may need medical intervention.

i think you mean birth control? well i'd deffinately at least confront your mom about it, she'd understand. it's how i got my pills. i wouldn't keep going through all that, it sounds awful. you'll be happyer if you just talk to your mom.

My 14 year old neice had the same problems. She started the pill 3 months ago - Her face has cleared up and she said the cramps and other things were alot better too.

They should know about your problems, obviously. Just tell them that you've heard that the pill can help regulate your period and help ease all your discomforts. They should be willing to do nething to help you have less pain. If they balk at the issue, ask them to at least ask the Dr. about your options. There may be other options for you that your Dr. could suggest.
