you might not be putting it far enough in, or may be putting it too far inside. regardless, you shouldn't be able to feel it inside of you. if you think that it isn't in right, take it out and start again! your period can also be heavier on certian days in your cycle than on other days. try purchasing a multi-pack of tampons (playtex has super and regular) and if you are concerned that you are going to bleed through the tampon, use a pad as back-up security! :0) also, make sure that you are changing your tampon regularly to avoid TSS!

good luck!

sometimes they can be heavier than at other times, and it is probally hurting cos you arent quite getting it in the right place im not being patronising im 18 and i still get it wrong sometimes, just take it out, get a clean one and try again! or move it with your finger!! hope this helps :)

maybe you should just try using pads for sometime and see if its better. If your stomache is still bothering you, maybe you should see a doctor

you may not be putting it in right.
it happens..
but maybe you should try a pad for a little bit.
and if you stomach still hurts.
go to the doctor and explain what is going on.

Endometriosis can often cause pain when inserting a tampon.

Common symptoms of endometriosis include:
- Painful intercourse
- Heavy menstrual flow
- Painful periods
- Pain not associated with menstruation
- Painful bowel movements
- Problems conceiving

Keep in mind though that only 10 to 15 percent of women have endometriosis, so I wouldn't get immediately worried.
