Depoverra shot question?!
Question: The day before Thanksgiving I received the depo shot, I was on my period because the Doc said I had to be on my period for him to give it to me. Ever since I received the Depo shot I been on my period. Its not very heavy bleeding. Now its time for me to get the shot again I decided not to because I don't have a man anymore. I been under lots of stress, and even lost weight which I thought was weired because i always hear of women saying they gain weight on the shot. Sometimes the bleeding will stop for five days but then it will start again. any advice out there?

If you get another shot, it may stop the bleeding, but there are no guarantees. I had the same problem and after 2 shots the bleeding didn't stop. I didn't go back for another shot, but I still had irregular bleeding for 6 months after I was supposed to get my 3rd shot. Good luck!
when i had the depo i would have periods for 7 days and then i would miss about 2 months and then have another 7 day period but because all woman are different the doc may be able to reccomend something better when you decide you need to take precautions again good luck if you are worried about your weight loss go to your gp as i did not put on or lose weight on the depo
Thats normal with the depo it usually stops after your second dose. When i had the depo I did this until after my second shot then after the second shot I didnt have a period at all
Well from MY experience with the shot...Id have to say I took it for three years and I would NEVER tell anyone to take it...It really messed me up . I had to stop taking it..But its different with everyone. I would bleed for three months then stop for three. I wouldnt worry. I would do research on the shot though.

Depo has horrible sexual side effects.... it almost eliminates sexual desire and pleasure.
I suggest you research it online before deciding to continue.
