It sounds like you've never had a yeast infection before. Do NOT use monistat, even if you think that you're 99% positive that it's a yi. It could be a completely different type of infection or you could even be allergic to it. Instead, go to a gynecologist and they will be able to determine what is wrong with you. Try writing your dad a letter if you're too uncomfortable to ask in person or see if a friend's mom can talk to him about it. Good luck.
