How often do you shave down there?!

Question: Hey everyone.

I shave all of my hair down there off. I was just wondering how often do you shave down there?

Is it possible to shave all of the hair off down there every two days? without getting razor burn and bumps? If yes, what is the method you use?

I have course dark hair.

Thanks xoxoxo

Use a conditioner or a shaving cream specifically developed for that area when shaving or you for SURE will get bumps. Make sure you are using a fresh razor every time you shave just cause the hair is coarser... it dulls up the razor faster. the duller the razor the easier it is to get razor burn.

Or use a hair diploritory (that says Bikini safe). Read the directions on the bottle to make sure you're using the product correctly. Depends on how quickly your hair grows but I'd say every 2 or 3 days should be ok.

I personally use sugar wax... but on days when I don't really feel like the pain that is associated with that I use a hair diploritory such as Nair.

Good luck! :)

yess it s possible....
but makesure to go in a downwards motion...it wont make oyu bleed

I shave mine every day to every two days.
I have never gotten razor burn, and haven't gotten the bumps in years.

I just use a regular razor (like I use to shave my legs or armpits) and shave it in the shower.

twice in 10 days

i used to shave, but now, i just dont care. too much of a hassle and just to shave it off again and wear down the razor. its not like anyone can see or anything so i dont worry about it anymore

I usually shave once a week mainly because I get very extreme razor burn. If you have course dark hair I would recommend waiting a little longer than two days. If that doesn't work for you I really recommend waxing (if you can tolerate the pain lol) if not depilatories (aka cream hair removers) work really well and last longer than shaving, although I don't do it very often because the chemicals in those things make me nervous hahah
hope that helped!

I have coarse dark hair as well and I'm prone to razor burn and ingrown hairs. At the advice of some women on my baby board, I started using magic cream. It is a hair remover for black men. It works wonders on pubic hair since it is coarse like black men's hair. The only problems I have are the smell -its really strong and it takes a little longer than shaving - you have to leave it on for 10 minutes before scraping it off with something like a spatula/plastic spoon. It does not burn like Nair does. Lots of women on there use it and absolutely swear by it. Its inexpensive so if you don't like it, no big loss. your hubby or boyfriend can use it on his facial hair.

Edited to add: I use it all over, not just the bikini line. I like the brazilian look, totally bald.

I also suffered with razor burn and bumps, so now i use scissors, they don't shave clean but it doesn't get to grow course and i do it when necessary

I shave every time I shower, and for preventing razor burn try using "Coochy Cream"

I wax once a month and its ALWAYS smooth.

Brazilian all the way

Go to a beautition and get a brazillian. the hair grows back softer and sparser. I get a professional wax every 6 - 8 months, and wax myself with special wax whenever i need to. there's no itching, no bumps, no razor burn, no cuts, just thinner, softer hair, and smooth like you'd never believe.

Oh, the first time around hurts like nothing you've ever done before (I had a four day labour, and have had stitches with no anasthetic) but oh boy is it worth it!!!!!
