Period + sex = ? [Ladies only please]?!

Question: My period normally lasts 4-5 days...

So i started my period on sunday [the 17th]
and i had unprotected sex yesterday [the 19th]
and my boyfriend came in me.

Now today, i hardley feel cramping and i'm not really bleeding anymore, it's more like spotting... Like, little spots of blood here and there...

This is supposed to be the 3rd day of my period
[i normally last 4-5 days]

What does this mean?

Is this normal?

i don't know! i've never had sex on my period before, but from what i've heard from my friends, it's totally safe and it's hard to get pregnant if you're on it...

Ladies with experience?
Please let me know what this means...

Thanks<3

There is a hormone in the male ejaculate that can occasionally interfere with menstrual flow. You probably will spot or bleed for the rest of your cycle, and it might actually last a little longer. It is unlikely that you could be pregnant.... but you should NEVER rule that possibility out.

It all depends on when you ovulate. Take a test to be sure.

yes you can get pregnant while you are on your period, there is no "safe" time to have unprotected sex

YOU CAN GET PREGNANT FROM HAVING SEX DURING YOUR PERIOD

You can always get pregnant. Even when you are on your period. You should take a test.

well i was always told that a female is more fertile when she's on her period!! and if he came in you; then you should feel more cautious!! whats done is done; so the only liable thing to do now is wait a few weeks to see a doctor; or buy a pregnancy test and get your results!!
if you ever need to talk hit me up!!
GOOD LUCK!!

um...i was told that you can only get pregnant in the middle of you cycle....not on ur period cus its already broken...just cus u usually last 4-5 days doesnt mean it cant end earlier...i always change:)

yes u can get pregnant!!! and it a lot of grls r different and there will be changes in ur cycle now and then

The possibility is highly unlikely - I've has sex plenty times during that time and never conceived. Sometimes your period will stop for a day and then start back up a day later after having sex.

If you really are concerned, buy a preg test...

You'll be fine. Just be careful next time. Since you're on your period, there are no eggs to be fertilized, therefore, you're not pregnant. Now yes, sperm may live inside you for a maximum of 7 days, but you won't ovulate for.. Like, another 12 days since you're still in the middle of your period. You only should be worried if you're close to ovulating, and during ovulation. But always take precautions, of course. Plus, the acidic environment of the vagina while you are on your period is very harmful to sperm. they didn't make it, don't worry. You're safe. Just be careful next time.

It's not totally safe. Depends on how long your cycle is. Typically a woman ovulates on day 14 of a 28 day cycle. However, most women are not exactly 28 days. To predict when you ovulate - without testing or taking your BBT - take how many days your cycle is and subtract 14. Therefore, a woman with a 25 day cycle ovulates on day 11. That is approx. when you ovulate (hence, when you can become pregnant).

Keep in mind that in the perfect environment sperm can live up to 5 days. So, if you have short cycle it is possible that you ovulated shortly after your period and the sperm is still alive in you from when you had sex on your period.

ummmmm....idk but good luck finding ur answerr igues!
