I believe they will not do a pap if you're pregnant, and they do not routinly check for pregnancy prior to the exam. They can do a blood test to see if you are pregnant, but you have to let them know it is a possibility. (Blood tests are accurate 7 days after conception, urine tests are accurate 14 days after conception.)

No. You have to request it if you think you are.

I don't think that they will do a pap unless you want them too...and they do check urine before they do a pap.

The Gyno will not do a pregnancy test unless you inform him/her that you think you're pregnant - please do let the doctor know if you think you are!! I've never had to pee in a cup for a PAP? Basically, they just swab around down there and test for any abnormalities - you should be in and out in no time...so don't worry yourself.

If you are pregnant the dr will do an internal exam if you go to the gyno for a physical they will check your urine for pregnancy... they will then do the internal to determine if there are any uterine changes

No they don't check pee before hand. Mine checks for urine problems like infections and such. Most doctors do not want to do a pap until the second trimester. Mine waited bc he didn't want to disturb anything. It you think you are pregnant you should inform the doctor before. If anything happens from him/her poking around and you didn't inform them of any suspicions then you are most likely liable.

Not sure about having a pap while preg. but the urine test is for diabetes I'm pretty sure. If something looks weird they test you for that.
