First, try soaking your hand for a few minutes in ice water. Cold water tends to make things shrink, so it might slip off after you dry it. If not, after soaking it in ice water, put a little butter, or oil around the ring and that part of your finger. Keep twisting slowly, working it off.

When you do get it off, do what I did, and wear your ring on a chain until after the baby's born.

Good Luck, and Congrats!

yikes.
this happened to me, too.
i put my hand in a bowl of reeeeealy cold ice water. after 15 minutes it came off.
yes, a too tight ring can be dangerous. if it gets too tight they have to cut it off.

The easiest thing to do is to go to a jeweler and have the ring cut off. You will never know that it has been cut because they can fix it just like new. With the ring so tight it can cause circulation problems.

I would try my best to get it off. Rub your finger with something oily, butter, cream whatever. You still have a good two weeks in which to go into labor so It may swell more and it could get painful. This is why I always take my rings off as soon as I get a positive test. I have yet to swell during pregnancy but the paranoia is enough to make me take them off!

i feel so bad for u but also happy for you my mom is pregnant too!!

don't worry its only three days till your baby is born.

GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!

take it off!!!!!!!
go to the doctor..there must b some good tricks for taking it off without damaging it
once i wore a plaster 2 tight for a day and my finger turned completly white! it was like it was dead, really weird looking
so imagine what a ring cutting off all cirulation for a few days could do? its a big risk to take
good luck

No take it off now! Ive seen people get there rings cut off of there finger becuase of this. Take a whole bunch of butter put it around the ring and just keep twisting the ring back and forth until it comes off. If that doesnt work try putting ice on your finger to lower the swelling and then try the butter thing again. I know you want to wear it but id rather you wear it later than to have to get it cut off your finger. Good luck with your baby and marriage!

Take a piece of string, keep wrapping it around your knuckle, working your way to the tip of the finger. This compresses your finger, and you should be able to slide it off.

Maybe if your boyfriend was a man and didn't wait until you were 9 days away from having a baby to propose, you wouldn't have this problem... he should have married you BEFORE getting you pregnant.... or worst case scenario, he should have married you before the baby was born.

As for the ring, don't worry... if it is a problem, they will cut it off at the hospital when you go to deliver.

ice reduces swelling and bloating.

so, ice that finger! wrap it in an ice pack or lay it in a bed of icey water for 15mins, then see if the ring will slide off with some detergent on your finger.

it HAS to come off so you don't loose that finger. either you do it with ice and detergent, or the doctors slice off the ring.
