Well some people have porn addictions and you can be a sex maniac but it's not really a thing you can know unless your doing it. You can do it at any age, some people feel bad about doing it but it's very natural, if your young just think about it this way, at least your not out there having sex and getting pergnant.

12`ish sounds like a reasonable age because that is when most of us become aware of our bodies. Addicted to feeling yourself; don`t think anything is wrong with that. I mean it is safe & harmless. Just be private abt it.
