Apart from pregnancy, why else could my period be late?!
Question: I usually get it like clockwork every 26-28 days, I got it on time on 1.01.08, then unusually early on 22.01.08
I've had nothing since. I had an operation in November 07 & got thrush from the anti biotics, I've got thrush again now.
Coulg I be late due to stress?

stress can absolutely cause a period to be late
if you are young then your periods may be a bit erratic. it could be stress, it could also be malnutrition.
sometimes anovulation months makes a period late b/cos ovulation releases the LH surge and that is a fixed phase, the luteal phase, hence regular periods. if the LH surge isnt there from the ovulation the trigger isnt there to get your period.
stress can delay it
body changes and regularity needs to be re set
Sometimes if you have lost a lot of weight for any reason, it can make your periods irregular.
