Have any of you women experienced or heard of this?!
Question: I feel silly asking this, but ...
When I insert my index finger into my vagina and press down towards my butt, I feel a small hard knot. It's slightly smaller than the size of a green pea and feels like it has tiny bumps on it. It's hard. When I squeeze it, it doesn't hurt, but I feel a tightening in my stomach.
Anyone have any clue what in the world this could be? I feel so ridiculous asking and plan to ask my physician on my next visit.

Is it always there? Because if not, you are pushing down towards your bowels, and it could be feces. Try going to the bathroom, and see if it goes away. If it doesn't, it could be a growth and you should see your gyno to get it checked out.
