Blood in my urine?!

Question: I went to my gyno today for my annual exam and he ran all sorts of tests on me. My urine showed I had blood in it again, I had 4 UTI's last year. He wants me to go to a urologist but he said he doesn't know what it could be because now it seems like there is an underlying problem. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Please help! I'm so nervous right now

i think the UTIs have a lot to do with it. Its probably not normal for one person to keep on getting these because they just dont come from no where, something has to cause these infections to come. It can come from many things, holding your pee, having sex with someone that maybe didnt take a shower so his thang may be dirty, not changing your underwear regularly, drinking too much soda. So maybe having so many of these caused something more. i dont think that you have too much to be worried about just be sure you keep the area clean and dont wear very tight pants and try to stay away from jeans

it could possibly be an infection in your bladder.

I had this while I was pregnant but mine was my placenta moving. So I dont really know..I wish you the best of luck..I will pray for you that everything turns out ok!

I used to have frequent UTIs also. Sometimes they just happen at times when your immune system is down. Then one night what I thought was a mild UTI turned into a nasty kidney infection and a night in the ER. There are plenty of factors, including stress and diet.

You're probably fine, but it's always a good idea to be extra careful and go to the doctor if you feel/notice anything out of the ordinary.
