No you can't see it. I remember when i was like 11 or so and i asked my mom the same question. She works in the ER, and she just kinda laughed. Don't feel bad, and you're not stupid. But simply, the answer is no you cannot. =]

no you can not see the egg

no it's microscopic

NO it is microscopic, and you cannot see it.

No you can't. I was told that if you put a pin in a piece of paper, the hole that is left is about the size of a human egg.

it's microscopic in size, so you cannot see it with the naked eye.

No you cannot see the egg.

Take a sharp pencil and make a "dot" on a piece of paper. The human ovum is about 1/10 the size of that dot...which is to say it is microscopic.

no you cant, its only a few cells and not visible to the naked eye, if you see things egg shaped then its blood clots and not the egg

no you can't see it. its way to small to see. you cant feel it or see, you wont even know it happened. so dont freak out.
the only dumb question is an unasked question.
my sister is 17 and she asks me these kinds of questions all the time.

I cannot believe none of you know how the female reproductive system works!!!! The egg is released about halfway through your cycle, usually about 14 days after the start of your last period. If unfertilized the egg will pass in less than a week.

It is microscopic and you cannot see it (it is a single cell).

The egg does not pass during your period. It's long gone by then. Your period is the shedding of the uterine lining that was building up to receive a fertilized egg. When no fertilized egg hit that lining and started to grow and give hormonal signals to your body to keep the lining, it sloughs off and that lining coming out is your period.

EGADS!

good luck!

You cannot see it though you should be able to tell around when it comes out. Usually at this point there is an increase in discharge (white thick mucus).
