I've only had a bikini wax once, but I went with a friend and she was on her period. She wore a tampon, so I don't even think the beautician knew. You'll either keep your own underwear on or wear paper underwear, so no one should be able to tell as long as you wear a tampon.
Even if you tell the beautician or she notices, I'm sure she wouldn't announce it to anyone. Women get their periods once every four weeks...I'm positive you would not be the first to need a bikini wax at the same time.
