A few tips:
First make sure you are using a good newer razor. 3 uses tops..a dull knicked blade is asking for trouble!
Use a good shaving gel.
Shave @ end of the shower so as the steam has a chance to soften the hair and open pores.
Also wash and/or exfoliate skin prior to shave.
Take your time! Only go over the area twice, rinse blade often. Try sitting on edge of tub if wobbly in shower. Hard to balance sometimes, but they actually sell foot rest for shower shaving.
Lastly after your shower pat skin dry rather than rub, then make sure you moisturize. I'd recommend one that isn't perfumed heavily.
Oh yeah sorry one more thing try not to shave more than twice a week. I'm lucky to have very fineand slow hair regrowth, but still. Shaving every day only makes it grow back faster & thicker. Plus it dry's out skin.

You should braid your leg hair.

Men...

anyway...maybe try switching your razor or blade more often, I know that the older the blade the more it will cut you. Other than that I can't provide a remedy, hope someone else does though, its good information!

Use an electric and for heaven's sakes don't shave your pubic area until you get better with a razor.

You could find another razor to use or switch your blade more often. Or just skip the razors all together!
you can use Nair or other products like that where you leave this gel/lotion stuff on for like 5 minutes max then you rinse it off and all the hair is gone. No nasty razor cuts!!!
And it lasts longer then shaving!

Use a good razor (I use Shick, they're awesome!), and shaving cream. Don't shave every day, because it will irritate your legs / armpits/ whatever. To avoid drying out, put lotion on where you shaved after showering. (Sometimes even using it before showering can make shaving smoother.) Another alternative is to use conditioner as an alternative to shaving cream. Don't make your water burning hot, and don't shave too quickly. Soft, silky legs take time! (:
