Taking your "virginity" away! You can't get it back cause you can never be a virgin again! And it doesn't only pertain to a female either. That's just the common definition of someone's innocence.........usually. Other forms of innocence are:

A "child" can have their innocence taken away just by being brought up in a mean, violent, unloving home - simply cause "childhood" in itself is considered "innocence" and if you take that away from a child - what do they have? The innocence is gone, all you have left a child who has been stolen from the only thing he or she had - his innocent childhood. That is a huge sin in my opinion - to take away a child's innocence - putting them in a position to where they have to take on way, way more responsibility or mental and/or physical tasks than their mind can handle, or to suffer severe and cruel circumstances beyond their capability of handling. It's stolen innocence. That is the very thing that makes some unfortunate children grow up to be monsters, gangstas, mean & cruel rapists and murderers. They are repeating what they know and learned as a child. They had their innocence stolen............

The innocence of Adam and Eve was taken away. Since then, there has not been innocence on earth. But Christ lived a perfect life, without sin, and therefore became our substitute, bearing our sin on the Cross, and expiating it with eternal death as punishment. Report It

How he did this, no one will ever know. Only deity can understand this, and I am not that. But what can be understood can be communicated. Report It

  • well umm,
i dont know how to explain it.
what does it mean when someone says "i took her virginity away"?
well its almost like that but in a little more of a different situation.

Basically it means losing your virginity and the person who "took it" from you.

    means they slept with u

I would think it means that someone takes your innocence away when they have sexual intercourse with you. You could stay away from that by not allowing your boyfriend/girlfriend to have sex with you. You can't get it back because you can't change the fact that you have sex after you had it. I hope my answer has helped you.

Taking your innocence away means making you aware of the real world with all its potential corruption.

It can also mean taking your virginity.

It's an analogy of who you were and who you presently are now. Basically we all learn and when we learn or experience something new we change or rather our perspective on things change. It's not something you can easily stop, it's part of life. Change could be good or bad. It's up to you to learn more about matters before you experience them thus changing the impact of the matter on yourself and your perspective. Wisdom says not to rush in, take your time and learn first. The relationship of innocence is symbolic to virginity; your first time having sex. Once you experience it the first time you can't take the experience back thus you are no longer a virgin.

means u have sex with someone or get raped and u get get it back cuz once u have sex ur no longer a virgin

Taking someone's innocence implies, ususally, that someone was raped.

Giving innocence away, on the other hand, is consented sex.

sorry, never heard big & rich. i can say that the loss of innocence (in the direction most of the folks are thinking) usually has been taken long before one's first intimate encounter, even though that is surely not to be entered into or taken lightly. when we're children believing openly & eagerly in everything, our losses begin much earlier with things like, no santa, tooth fairy, magic kingdoms, or happily ever afters; all we need to do is use our imaginations. disappointment & the loss of innocence many times are the same. once its gone it is, is the long and short of it.
