Hi is it possible to have a miscarriage and not bleed?!

Question: or have any pain at 5 weeks gone or would you still bleed

Answers: or have any pain at 5 weeks gone or would you still bleed

Yes. You can have what is called a 'missed abortion', the medical term for what happens when the developing foetus dies but is not expelled from the body. It is often not discovered until the woman goes for her first ultra-sound scan. When this happens the woman is usually booked for a D&C to empty the womb.

you mean you are 5 weeks pregnant? on occasion people have something called a "missed miscarriage". this requires a d & c. generally you can tell by having abnormal pains.

The meaning of miscarriage is that you expel the the baby as your body has rejected the pregnancy it so this means you will bleed and pass the cells and blood, if your pregnant now and have had pain for 5 weeks i would seek a doc /midwife immediately

NO.

absolutely yes.it is called missed abortion meanwhile the signs of the pregnancy will be subsided gradually and the pregnancy hormonal levels will decrease in turn

No it is not. Go see your Dr. !!

If you were 5 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage, there should be bleeding at some point. If not then your body may believe it is still pregnant and you will need medical intervention. There is also something called a molar pregnancy that most definitely needs early medical intervention. Go see your OB/GYN doc.

I guess I would say anything is possible and it could be a medical marvel but usually not.
If you are pregnant PLEASE just make sure you get pre-natal care whether you are keeping the baby or not. Getting pre-natal will help both you and the baby for the long run!
Get checked by a OB/GYN!
Or midwife.
Good luck!

lol no think about it if you miscarry how will the baby come out? it dont just go away it has to come out of the body and it comes out of the body threw your vagina. i have had a miscarriage and i spotted with cramping then the cramping got worse the bleeding got worse then there was clots and bigger clots then this ball about the size of a base ball came out. and i still bled for 6 wks after my miscarriage the blood turned to kind of a brown color before it stopped and i was 9 wks pregnant.
