Can vaginal trauma cause spotting?!

Question: my boyfriend and I have started to use toys durning sex and i was wondering if it can cause spotting if he was a little too rough. I have been spotting a pinkish brown dicharge. This has been going on for about a week and it started the day after we had sex. Its not a continous flow it only happpens when i urinate. Im expecting my period in a few days im not the pill or anything..

Definitely possible. Rough sex can cause this. Also, increased arrousal/intercourse can change your hormones, and cause periods to come sooner. I would be worried though if it is only during urination. This could indicate that it is from the urinary tract and not the vagina. Wipe without urinating to test. If it is truly only after urinating, you should see your doctor. Could be an infection.

Make sure you wash your toys well. You could be introducing bacteria and such. This could lead to infections.

You probably caused a small tear in the cervix or vaginal wall that should heal on its own. Are you sure it is not the urine itself, if it is you may want to see a doctor to make sure you didn't do damage or get an infection to your urinary track or bladder.

Totally normal.
Be careful with your vag, honey!

it could be cause by the toys or it could just be spotting if you dont get your period next week maybe take a test to see if your pregnant

Like another poster said, it could be you caused a little trauma and "loosened" things up in your uterus. However, if you only see it when you urinate, I, too, have to wonder if it is not urinary tract related.

I bet it could be caused by trauma.. but I would not rule out pregnancy. The way you described the dishcarge is how a lot of women describe implantation bleeding.. which is when an egg implants inside the uterus and causes spotting.
