The youngest you can start your period is 8(Very rare). If you don't get your period by 16 then go see a doctor(because u may not be able to have kids or maybe your a very abnormal late bloomer)
Don't be terrified, believe me its not that bad. Every gilr must go through it. Soo don't be scared its not a bad. I was in your postion, a couple years ago. =)

Don't be scared of starting your period. It's really nothing to be scared of - the cramps are like a headache - a little hurty, but nothing too bad. The blood is not a big issue - just hang in there.

yes it is possible to get your period between 8 and 16. its not scary at all, hon, dont get worried. every girl gets it sometime. i would talk to your mom about it, or your best friend or something.

Totally possible. A good indicator of when you'll start is when your mom started. I was 10, so was my daughter. You will also start to have body changes like maybe a slight staining in your underwear, you may start getting boobs and your pits might smell a bit. Don't be terrified, it's something you'll have to deal with for years and years to come and you might as well figure out how to deal with it, right? I think you have some time, try to just enjoy being a kid for now :)
Yes it is very possible. One of my teacher in elementary school told the girls in our class (it was like a day where they had to teach boys and girls about hormones) that she had her period when she was nine and it was on her birthday too. It is very possible but it all depends. Most likely, you'll get your period around the same time as your mom did, so ask her and she will be able to help you with everything. :)

yes there are girls that start at 9. i was 10 when i started. its really not that big of a deal. sure its kinda scary at first. You get used to it. its irregular at first, some girls get cramps, or moody, others don't. don't worry about it. there are worse and more painful things in life. luckily mine now is only about 3 days long so that only 3 days out of 30, no biggie!
Yes, it's possible to get your period at nine. If you don't feel comfortable talking to your mom about this, try talking to a friend that already has hers. It's not that scary, but be prepared by having pads tucked away, and know what signs to look for. Stomach cramps, sore lower back, moodiness, tender breasts, etc. You may only get a few of these symptoms, or none of them. Good luck, and find someone to talk to.
If you have really close friends and they start it .. then you will to or the other way around. Me and my friends made fun of the one that started first then with in two weeks another one of us started and so on.... but that only happens if you are REALLY close.
it is possible for a girl to start her "it" at 9 im 15 and i started mine when i was 13 i waas soooooooooo scared when i got mine but the first time you get it dont be scared it shoouldnt be a heavy flow
