Whats the best way to stop your period without having an injection?!

Question: are there any old wives tales or anything that you've heard of that stop the time of the month? I'm already on the pill, that you have to stop them when your due, but i just want to put a delay on mine if possible.

The normal advice if you are already on the combined pill and wish to delay a period for a holiday or special event, is to run 2 packets of pill together for 42 days. You should never run more than packs without a break, allowing a bleed to take place.

The mini pill stopped mine completely!
good luck!

If you are taking the pill whereby you have a weeks break off the pill to have your period, you can usually continue taking your pill through that week, and this usually stops the period.

ive done it a few times, if I have been due on when off on holiday etc.

there is a pill where you only get your period 4 times a year. it basically skips the sugar pill that you take during your period. or you can skip that week on your own but this may mess up your insurance if it only covers once every thirty days since you would need a pack every 21 days. if you do this be sure to take the sugar pills atleast once every three months.

I've been told (but haven't tried it myself) that if you start the next month's pack of pills without taking the break, then you would skip that month's period. In the second month, when you stop taking the pills and start on the placebos, your period should start up again.

Don't try to do this too often as the body can get confused and you can end up bleeding irregularly, but doing it every once and a while should be okay, I believe.

Why on earth would you want to mess your body up like that?

Yes don't stop taking the pill, keep going through and stop when you want the period
