Should I shave yet???!
Question: I'm 12 and in the 6th grade. I don't wanna shave yet on my legs-i mean i shave under my arms-but not my legs yet-i don't think the hair is that noticable. And I feel fine in shorts, etc. Should I shave yet? I don't want to and I was waiting for my best friend to shave for me to shave. Is that ok?

If you don't notice it now, its fine to wait until you do. As far as waiting on friends - get brave and ask their plans. They might be waiting on you. I ended up at a friends house with a few others of us for our first shave party - we all decided we would do it together. On went the swimsuits, out came the razors and it wasn't long til we were all smooth and no one really know who had gone first lol.
haha i remember me and and my 3 best friends started shaving our legs in 5th grade.
If it's not noticeable on your legs, then don't worry about it until it becomes noticeable or you start to feel uncomfortable about not shaving your legs.

You should only shave if you feel that you are ready to shave...if you want to wait till your friend starts that's ok too.......
If you don't want to start shaving and the hair isn't too noticeable.....don't start! Once you start, plan on doing it at least once a week for the rest of your life! Ask your mom

I didn't shave until I was 13, but I was really uncomfortable with it because I have dark, thick hair. If you're not uncomfrtable, then there's no law that says you have to shave. Just keep in mind that when you do shave and your hair grows back in, it'll be very noticable, unless you have blonde hair. Hey, my friend betsy is blonde, and she doesn't shave except under her arms, and she's 20!!
the bottom line is, dont feel pressured to do anything. Shaving under your arms is good, bc if you don't, sweat gets trapped there, and you stink. But don't shave just because your friend does. Take you time, do it when you want to.
