Are you actively trying to conceive? If so, you will need to make sure you are timing your intercourse around ovulation. In most women, the open window of ovulation is limited to 36-48 hours. Perhaps your partner has a low sperm count or morphology issue. Perhaps you have blocked fallopian tubes and the sperm are unable to meet the egg. You may have to hormonal imbalances that don't support pregnancy. This was my issue: I had almost no progesterone and lost 3 pregnancies until my fertility specialist ran the right bloodwork and put me on the right medication. Other serious issues might include cysts on your ovaries, endometrious, anovulation, cervical lesions, or it could be an issue with your partner. Please know that it takes a healthy couple up to 1 full year of trying to conceive. If either of you have fertility issues, it must be taken care of or conception might just end in a loss. Also know that 25% of all pregnancies result in a miscarriage. Check your medical coverage to determine what kind of fertility benefits you have. Also make an appointment with your regular gynecologist to discuss these issues. He/she will be able to make the best medical referals based on your past history. I might also recommend the fertility 'bible' called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. You can find it on amazon.com for less than $20 if you buy used.

All the best to you!

try going to the doctor, maybe its just the wrong time, wait till you are ovulating, and maybe its because you might need a little more help than just having intercourse

you were just had sex whenever you CAN'T get pregnent that's all,try to plan it out.. 6 to five day b4 your dot.

I've been there. I was having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for over 2 years and nothing. Doctors will not troubleshoot unless you are married (something about insurance). After about 2.5 years we got pregnant out of the blue - but it ended in miscarriage. It is really hard for some women to get pregnant and stay pregnant. Thats why I hate it when women have abortions.

If you are concerned I would talk to a doctor. It could be many reasons.

Contrary to what another answerer says, you can get pregnant any time you have sex.
