signs of a yeast infection:---
~itchy
~weird colored discharge
~fishy/bad smell
~also some say there is some buring invloved
those are the most common signs.
i think pads are fine and if you wash everyday and take care of yourself you'll be fine:-)

Your vulva and vagina itch and burn terribly and you have a paste-y or clumpy white discharge. I wouldn't know about the pads though, I've never had a YI around my period.
