Bleeding and dont know why?!
Question: Ive been having what seems like a period for about 2 weeks now (it will be three weeks this sunday) I screwed up on my birth control and cant take it till this coming up Sunday. Im thinking that has something to do with it, but im not sure. I had a miscarriage about 3 or 4 months ago, and its pretty much the same signs i had when i was going through that. Pain, heavy bleeding and clots.
If someone thinks they know what this could be please let me know.

If you had a miscarriage and dinot seek medical attention, it could be that your uterus didnot expell all parts of the pregnancy. This could cause the unusually long bleeding. You may possible need a D&C to scrape out any residue of the misscarriage. Also birth control pills sometimes being of different brands and strengths can cause periods that are not normal until the Dr. adjusts the dosage to fit your system. In either case a visit to your doctor is called for to see what is causing this. By all this blood loss, you could become anemic and low on iron.
if you missed taking you pills that is most likely what it is. happens to me too!
