Is it possible to stop your periods?!

Question: I completely understand where you are coming from, I made sure I didnt have a period when I was doing my final exams for my degree.Ask your doctor about the pill if you are not already on it. If you are then by running two packs together would prevent the period in the middle and as this is suggested if you have been taking anti-biotics to make sure the contraceptive works it should be ok but would still check with doctor first. Good luck

It depends. If you get on various types of birth control it can delay or stop your period for a while.

Get pregnant?

Yah DUH!!!! it's called menopause

yes keep taking pill .but not advisable.........

Yes of course it is, you can lose it when you get to around the age 50. But you can also skip them from having to much stress.

Forever? I don't think so. Temporarily, yes. You can go on the pill and just keep taking it without a break. Make sure you talk to your doctor before doing this becuase you can't do this straight for more than 3 months I believe.

yep the injection type of contreception

For ever no...untill there ready!!
For a short time you can continue taking the pill without a break if your on it but doing thing for long will cause you problems!!

You can but you need to go and see your GP as they are bringing a drug out that will stop your periods, but if you do that I don't think you can have kids

if you are taking the pill and you dont stop for your 7 day break you wont get a period

WHY would you want to? If you are a healthy young woman, they are part of being ... a Healthy young woman. I have heard that someone who does too much sport and many exercises can delay them. but it's obviously not a healthy regime.

well i had to have the marina coil put in, and have been told that after 12 months, ur periods will stop.

i have had it in for 18months now and they have nearly stopped, i just see a 'show' of blood maybe once or twice, nothin much at all.

if u go and see ur doctor and ask about the marina coil u should be able to have it fitted a ur surgery.

hope this helps x

speak to your doctor, is it possible to start the contraceptive pill to delay your period,

if you are on birth control you can skip the placebo week of pills and just continue with a new pack.

Hey,, even if you are not on the pill you can go to your doctor who will give you some tablets which you can take for the time you dont want a period, then when your exams are over you stop taking and ur periods go back to normal. easy!
so u dont need to go on any type of contraceptive.

yes you can get tablets from the doctor that will do that but it is likely that you will suffer a bit with sore boobs.

Stress can stop your period
The level of stress you will be under during your exams might stop them anyway -- without medical help.

speak with your doctor, there are some contraceptive injections, but they can effect your moods, as can anything that plays with your hormones

Good luck with your exams

You can control them with birth control? but stop them totally? im not sure how you would go about that, or even if it is advisable!

Not really.

Talk to your doctor and see what they suggest.

Really fat people and really skinny people period's stop but I don't think that will help you.

There are birth control tablets that can stop this or you could try a better sanitary towel.
