Pale inner labia, thick white discharge. Help with it?!


Question: I have a lower libido this month, is which HIGHLY unusual. My condition is somewhat worrisome.

I've been to a gyno, but she hasn't given me any helpful advice, except that it can't be pregnancy, since I've already had a period. She claimed it could be an infection, specifically a yeast infection, but who knows? I couldn't test it, because that would take $$ and I'm a broke student.

I need your opinions on this. NO CRAP!

Symptoms:

-The inner labia is pale and does not become "wet" when aroused, even when stimulated.

-The discharge that is present is not slippery and clear, but simply whitish and thick, and does NOT help sex feel comfortable and pleasurable at all. :(

-My libido is low. Compared to how I really am, I'm a babe who really loves sex, and usually has it everyday when I can.

-I have a steady boyfriend of 7 months. No cheating!

-Lately, I've been lazy and busy, with a lot of stress in school. I sleep 3 hours a night sometimes.

My best guess would be that it's a yeast infection. Over the counter Monistat 3 is a fairly cheap method of taking care of this. About the low libido, it's probably just because you are busy, stressed and get limited sleep. It doesn't sound too alarming, but if things don't clear up within the next month or two, i would seriously think about getting into a doctor.

I believe you have a yeast infection. You say your discharge is white and thick, if it is "cottage cheese" like, then that is an indicator of a yeast infection (candidiasis). The stress that you have been experiencing may have helped this infection develop.

There are OTC medications such as Monistat and Vagistat that you can buy at the drug store but you should really see a doctor to make sure you don't treat yourself for something that you don't really have. And, if your symptons progress to tenderness, nausea or vomiting you should seek medical attention immediately.

Dont worry about the light color inner labia, this changes often, due to hormonal fluctuations, even on a monthly basis, most of us never even notice it. But how many of us really LOOK with a mirror? I think we should.
Anyways, whitish and kinda thick? hmm, had it more times I can recal..listen, if it does not get thicker, or looks like cottage cheese, or has a really baddd, and I mean nasty odor, I would go for some vinager and water, douche, a few times, this week, and see if it goes on it's merry way.
Bet it does.
Calm yourself down, ( youre stressed so much, u canot sleep, gurly, comon..) go get some Celetial seasons, Sleepy time tea, or buy a small bottle of children's Benadryl, trust me, they both will help sooo much.
You will be fine.
If all else fails, and it seems worse, or burns, or itches badly, get some Monostat. I never used it, but others say it works.
ALSO, even if this is a mild yeast infection, and u douche and get the Bendryl and the tea, at the supermarket, PEASE, for the next week, stop eating breads, cakes, cookies, pizza.. think white food and sugared foods. This will reduce your yeast infection, just naturaly. Eat anything, but stay away from white food, unless it is fish.. or pasta.
Make yourself eat salads, and nuts, fish, some meat is fine.
Just remmber- white food- no, sugar foods- no, for at least this comming week, and I bet you will feel so much better. You will be less stressed, less full of the sugar and starches that your yeast infection craves, and more relaxed, and alive again. I was told this three years ago, because I was sooo pagued with what ya got.
I HATED the ideas, but they sure did work, and the certaiinly cannot hurt you. Give it a try. Best to you.
