Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. You will also have your own 'scent' that will smell stronger to you than to others. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. If it's coming out yellow, you probably have an infection. If it's drying yellow, you are fine.
Different Types of Discharge:
White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.
Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.
Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.
Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

its normal hun, its just your vaginas way of cleaning itself.

i read it when i was younger and its really hellpful about that stuff.
Okaay this is normal it is called discharge and that is not your period your period is blood...
so you will know when it is your period..
although discharge is a sign that your period will be coming soon after you have had it for 6 months or more than it could come any time..
that is discharge i think, and if its yellow, u might b infected, i would tell a WOMAN doctor about that if i could, or at least call 1

It's just the vigina fluid. You must keep yourself clean. Keep washing yourself, so it doesn't smell in your underwears. Best of luck.
