Pad for 9hrs? Help!?!

Question: so its the 2nd day of my period. Will wearin a pad for 9hrs make me smelly? What if I sprayed some spray on (down there)?

I'm planning on doing a 'stay up all night' so will my flow be heavy when usually at this time I would be sleeping?

OK. Listen I have gone through this before. As long as you don't do a ton of activity your flow at night is MUCH lighter than during the day. also, Toilet paper can help but it dries out your Vulva and sometimes you can get yeast infections or cuts. Just wear a really big pad or you can put a smaller pad OVER the bigger pad to make it thicker. then you only put away the smaller pads and the larger ones just sits on your underwear and hardly gets wet. and don't spray down there unless it is with water. It is a very sensitive part and can get infected quite easily. Good luck!

Hey well i have done a stay up all night but uhm why don't you just change the pad as normall? They flow won't change but i don't think you can have a pad on 9 hours...xxx

firstly, change your pad. thats disgusting having it on for that amount of time. of course its going to smell! your covering up old blood with new blood becasue your not changing it. you can also get infections. sort yourself out.

if u go to the potty every know and then and press on it to take out some of the blood u should be fine

Just change your pad at normal intervals! EVERY woman gets her period at some time or another, it's okay.

i really dont think its sanitary for you to wear a pad that long you should change if you dont you can possible get some kinda infection or bacteria build up and that wouldnt be good at all changing your pad is a very normal thing there is nothing bad about it all

You really need to change your pad in that time. You can't just cover up the odor. There is an odor because there is bacteria. And that means the possibility of an infection. You can be discreet in changing your pad. Just slip one into your pocket (or if you don't have a pocket, the waistband of your pants with your shirt covering) and just go to the bathroom as usual. Besides there being an odor, if you're bleeding heavily leaving a pad on that long will lead to a leaky pad, and that can be MUCH more embarrassing and harder to cover up. Just change your pad and get on with your evening.

It will smell if you leave a pad on for 9 hours. Spray will not "mask" it. I understand that you don't want your friends to know so my advice is to put a pad either in your pillow case, purse or in your makeup bag. When you go to the restroom take in your purse or makeup bag and change your pad.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

echo above answers, but don't forget about the odor shield pads they have out now.

yea your vag will get all warty and gross
