she sees u undressed?? dnt let her. if u share a br w/ her like i do, ask her if shes done in the br till ur done takin a shower, and then just shut the door. ifu want 2 shave down there i warn u that it will b VERY itchy. god luck with that. nd if u do wnt ur mom 2 c down there 4 some reason, then just say, it looked like a forest and it wz getting annoying

At 12 your mom shouldnt be looking down there. Also at 12 you shouldnt be shaving down there yet!

If you wanna shave then shave, tell yoour mom you need some privacy

Thats when i started to. I just told my mom that i am older now i would like my privacy.

wel yah if u want u can shve down there because its ur own body but u shud tel ur mom that u want ur own privacy and so she shudnt look down there

It is your body and if you want to shave "it", be prepared to continue shaving. If you shave hair it just grows back thicker. Your only 12 and your body will continue to change....so this is something that you should talk to your mom about. If you feel you can't talk to her, then write her a note. Good luck, I hope this helps.

Even if there is "grass on the field" it's very uncomfortable. I recently shaved mine, and it's like any other area with thick hair, it's pokey, and just sucks unless you get it removed with laser hair removal or waxed, neither of which I would recommend. Just keep your hair and worry about it when you're an adult.

shave it. its all going to grow back anyway

well, if you want to shave that bad and don't want your mom to see, then conceal your privacy. act like you don't want anybody seeing you naked but yourself. why you'd wanna shave i have no clue. it's not really good to do that at 12. if you feel you absolutely MUST shave, just trim the edges.

I wouldn't shave it. Once you start, you have to keep it up. I did it a couple of times, but I wish I hadn't.

MY mom let me shave at 11! well you need to talk with her and say'' mom i am 12 years old''.....but don't start crying cause then she will think that you are just to young.=)

Honey, it's your choice, but make sure you really want to do it. If you want to have sex, you should wait. It's perfectly fine to clean and shave your vagina, but you shouldn't be having any sex. Think of all the risks, STDS, pregnancy, all bad things. Wait until you really have the one you want, then you can give yourself to him and say, "I saved myself for you," And he'll respect you even more.

i did, i just hurts, if you are going to get rid of the hair, buy a waxing kit, you can get them at wal-mart, walgreens, and a think CVS. but DONT shave it, you get cut, if you HAVE to shave, buy shaving cream.

Just shave it, If your mom sees and ask why...Just tell her you didnt like the hair. Besides you need to have your own privacy.

awww that sucks my mom did not "LET" me shave my legs until i was 13 and she was always making sure i didn't it was annoying so one time i stayed up until like 3:00 in the morning and begged her to let me shave my legs they are scared for us to grow up as for shaving your muff i would wait as it gets very itchy I am 19 and i do it now but i use a shave gel specificly for that area try to talk to her or just make sure she never sees you act like you are embarrased for anyone to see your body

think about it before you do it. cuz once you start there is no turning back, it will grow back thicker. im not gonna tell you your too young, cuz i get mad when people tell me that (im 16) i hate having hair there its annoying and aggravating, but if you dont want your mom to noe, dont tell her, just dont walk around naked, when you shower lock the door or tell your fam you want your privacy. once you do it even if she does find out she cant tell you anything because it is your body, yes she is your mom, but you are old enough to start making SIMPLE decisions like this at least about your own body.

Why do you want to shave? I doubt at the age of 12 you are "Tanner 5" yet, which would necessitate a bikini wax or shave.

Are you trying to stay a little girl? Let nature take it's course. Having "fuzzies" is part of being a human. A girl with pubic hair is not a woman with all the responsibility that goes with it; it's simply being a young girl with fuzzies. No more, no less.

If you're interested in the stages of female genital "fuzzy" development, here's a link.

Edit: and remember, if you shave the pubic area, it itches like a you-know-what as it starts to grow back; and you will also run a good chance of developing red "chicked flesh" bumps and ingrown hairs. I know this because I keep mine shaved. But then, I am 37 and well into the Tanner 5 stage.

Edit again: wrong link fixed

Oh honey, dont shave it. Trim it. No matter how well you shave you'll end up with razor burn which hurts. Then when it grows back it itches. Ive used Nair and got a chemical burn. I used wax, and thought I was going to die from the pain (grab a chunk of your hair and pull, thats all it does).
If youre really hairy and it bothers you just use some small scissors and trim up.
And as for your mom still seeing you naked...I think you should tell her you need your privacy, theres no need for her to be in the bathroom the same time you are at your age.

I kno u probally want to shave it but dont shave the whole "area down there" bc when the hair grows back it will itch just shave the top of you vagina and thats all u need for lk swim suit season. i hope i helped plus ur mum will nvr kno that way

Do it while in the shower =]
