Can you be pregnant but still have periods?!
Question: Hey, I was just wondering if this sounds like im pregnant or not.
Okay My cycle is the same this month, but about 4 days later, which I dont think is that strange for me.
but this time my period is very short. It only lasted about 2 days... and has been very light since then.
I dont seem to have any symptoms besides like headachs and cramps but i know those could be signs of a pregnancy.
also what are early signs of being pregnant?
like i know all the ones they tell you but I dont really seem to have any besides the tenderizing of the breasts, but once again that could mean im pregnant. But is there like certain different signs that are irregular too? that you notice the first few months?
Also when do most women start to show?
or notice any weight change?
Im sorry for all the questions, i just would be a first time mother, and im very curious and really excited

Do yourself a huge favor and go to a 24hr pharmacy and buy an $8 pregnancy test.....one of the ones that can tell you 5 days before you miss a period. Better yet, wait til Monday and go to a clinic where they have family planning and they can do a blood pregnancy test if the urine preg test comes back negative. The symptoms that you are experiencing are not specific to being pregnant>>>breast tenderness, enlargment and nausea/vomiting. You wouldn't start to show for months....even if you are rail thin....go get the preg test.
You can bleed but never a PERIOD!
- use a drug store pregnancy test (about $8 each; get two and use the second a few days after the first for accuracy)
- go to the ob/gyn clinic and get tested there
if you're bleeding you aren't pregnant. period.
the menstrual cycle means you're ovulating, because your eggs are waiting to be fertilized with sperm.
it has actually happened before that a women still gets a period (bleeding) during a pregnancy. It is very very rare, but could happen.
I know that you can carry on having periods the whole tim you are pregnant, I read about a girl who was very toned so the baby didnt show at all and she had her periods through-out in fact the first time she knew she was pregnant was when she got the urge to push... did so and voila one baby in her bed. very rare but possible
