Is there a "right" age to visit a Gyno?!

Question: So, I'm 14yo.
Yes I've had my period before.
Yes I'm developing ect.

Should I visit a gyno for check-ups regulaly?
Or not because I heard that you have to be already sexually active. (which I'm not)

So, is 14 a right age even though I'm not sexually active?

Thx! :)

You don't have to be sexually active to start going to the gyno. I learned to start going at 18, and that's when I started to go. Wasn't sexually active. You are done developing and it is a good idea to go yearly to make sure everything is in good health (breast exam, cancer screening, etc). My gyno discovered lumps in my breast last year, fortunately they are just fibroadenomas (benign) but it was nice to have her discover them and having a good idea as to what they were as opposed to me freaking out if I found them first. I wouldn't worry about it at your age yet though, unless you have reason to.

You dont have to be sexually active, but that's when women usually start to visit the gyno, other than that there really is no reason to unless you are having problems in the girly areas.

You don't have to be sexually active to see a gyno. Usually, drs recommend a girl to start going around the time they have there first period to make sure there is no inflamtion in the cervix.
