Stomach flu and birth control?! I need help?!
Question: My husband and I had sex yesterday afternoon. Last night I took my (friday night) birth control pill on time (11:30pm). I came down with the stomach flu last night, and was throwing up and having diarrhea around 1am or so. I threw up all night until around 7am this morning. I am not getting sick anymore, and I just took my Saturday night pill. Do you think there is a chance of getting pregnant since I did have the unprotected sex, and then possibly threw up my pill? (since sperm can live in the body for awhile) Or do you think my pill already absorbed into my system by the time I was sick. Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't be too worried about it since it usually takes awhile for th pill to run out of your system. It only gets worrisome if you're sick for several days in a row. That's what my doctor told my anyway. :) Hope everything works out for you!
