Red sore bumps inner lips of vagina?!

Question: On my 4th day of my period I noticed a tiny burning sensation when I pee, I ignored it. This is the 6th day and the pain has become unbearable when I pee. I found small tiny red bumps (around 2 on each side) on the inner lip of my vagina, they are dark red, they don't itch but they feel really raw.

My boyfriend was tested positive for HSV2 but he's NEVER had any outbreaks. Does that mean its still contagious? Also we've been sexually active for more than a year. And just in case today i took two doses of 300 mg of acyclovir (zovirax) as recommended by the pharmacist.

I'm not sure if its yeast infection because it doesn't itch and there is no strong fishy smell. I'm on my 6th day of my period so theres still some dark brown-ish discharge.

Anybody experienced this?

He is definitely still contagious! Even if he doesn't have any open sores. I would assume that he had some sort of outbreak because otherwise he wouldn't know he had it. A physician wouldn't just test for it out of the blue. A herpes outbreak usually starts as an itching or burning sensation and then you may see a bump that looks fluid filled. Eventually, the bump ulcerates and the area will look like an open sore with red edges. They will be painful. It wouldn't be a bad idea to go and get tested for STI's. It may also be a urinary tract infection and you just happened to notice these bumps at the same time and the two are unrelated. Good luck!

Although he hasn't had any outbreaks, he can still pass it on. I would get checked for it. It could also be something else, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

you more than likely have herpies because even tho there is no outbreak it can still be transmited at any time and just because he dosent have an outbreak does nto mean yuo wouldnt have one if u had it so i would go to the doctor and get checked to make sure and the brownish discahge is probably old blood form your period o its probably going to stop here pretty soon

i hope this helped!

There are a number of simpel remegies, one being `ural' but see your doctor
