Women, any of you ever use alternatives to tampons, like the cups? 10 pts for be!
Question: I am looking into alternatives for tampons because I am sick of the constant leakage. I have very heavy periods and always have to wear a pad plus a tampon EVERYDAY. I'm also wanting to be more enviro-friendly. Anybody use these?

I found the cup totally disgusting- I run a lot (about 7-10 miles every morning), and it felt really weird. Plus, I found that removing a cup full of blood was just gross. If you work out a lot or travel a lot, I wouldn't recommend it.
However, I've read reviews from women who absolutely love it, so I guess it might be worth trying.
I have tried the Instead cup (www.softcup.com), but I would not recommend it for heavy flows. If it is not inserted correctly, it WILL leak.
