Yes. Men don't really care. I don't really bleed during sex though. I use tissues instead of a towel, and it works really well if u place them just at your bottom. (if you're doing missionary position)

In other countries it isn't a big deal. It also helps with cramps. I've never heard of it being infectious. I mean if it is in your body to begin with it really shouldn't be that full of bacteria.

It's up to the woman and her partner :) I personally wouldn't because I don't feel like sex when I'm on my period and the very thought of having sex when I'm on horrifies my boyfriend lol but I'm sure it won't damage you or your partner to do it as long as you're practising safe sex :D

The lining of the uterus is there normally when your partner enters you. The only difference while having sex during a period is that this lining is being shed and replaced. Menstrual blood is a natural bodily fluid. Why would it carry any more harmful bacteria than it usually does as it's being expelled from the body?

There is suprisingly less blood than you think when you do it while you are on, lots of women do it, for me it is a no, but yeah put a towel under if you are going to.

It depends on the individual woman, because every woman's periods are different. I have very heavy periods, but I'm still lucky in a way because they only last two days.
I wouldn't want to have sex on the really heavy days, as I generally feel tired and cranky and not really in the mood for sex. Also, as I sleep with women a lot more than men (and oral sex is a major part of making love to another woman), I wouldn't ever have sex with a woman while on my period. However, with a man it's different - if I was up for it and so was he, then maybe I would.
Some women have fairly light periods, and the blood flow often stops during arousal anyway, so it really does depend how the individual feels about it.
