Question: I am getting the 3rd gardacil shot tomorow! All of my friends say it kills! Can u answer these questions PLEASE!!
does it hurt?
which gardacil shot hurts most?
what would u give this shot 1-10 (10 means it really hurts)?
what will make it not hurt (or to calm my nerves)
what should i not do while getttin the shot?
thats about it... CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME!
and please no details like: it hurt bad, i could feel the liquid going in....

-Yes it hurts, but it's DEFINTELY worth it.
-The second shot is the most painful to the majority of people.
-The third shot is about an 8 for needles, but for overall pain, a 2 or 3.
-Relax your arms, close your eyes, breathe in and out, don't tense your muscles, and try to smile during the shot. Think of an ocean too. Ask a friend to sit with you,(studies show that being by someone you trust during needles calms your blood circulation, and therefore you won't feel it as much).
-When getting the shot, don't talk, look at the needle, move, or listen to what other people say after they get the shot.
i heard the first one hurts the most so dont be worried its just a shotits not liek your gonna die lol the pain will eventually go away plus its better than having a STD for the rest of your life right?!

It has been shown that Gardasil is more painful than other vaccines (although scientists aren't sure what might be causing that).
However, you should realize that all three shots are the same. So if you did not have a problem with the first two, I wouldn't expect anything different for the third. If it does seem more painful, it's not the vaccine itself but perhaps you got poked in a place that is more sensitive.

the 2nd one hurt but for like the entire time of leaving the office to walking out the door to 2mins top needle dosent hurt just kinda sore not painfull
