UTI? Help me?!
Question: I have had recurring UTI's...If I have one and I have sex with my boyfriend..and i wasn;' completely treated for one, could I pass it to him, and then I do get treated for it..he doesn't ..could w ej ust be passing it back and forth??

You most likely won't pass it back and forth for a long time, but you can give him a UTI. It is a urinary tract infection, and you are exposing his urinary tract to those bacteria. This can be prevented if you use a condom. However, having sex can worsen your situation. You could be helping the bacteria that caused your infection to flourish. This can make your situation worse. A UTI can turn into a bad bladder infection, and from there it can even harm your kidneys. Wait to have sex until you finish your antibiotics, and your symptoms are gone. Also, try to drink a ton of water and take concentrated cranberry pills from your local drug store.

you cant pass UTI's to each other by having sex,but it can aggravate them if your not getting treatment for them
You shouldn't have sex if you have a UTI. It's going to aggravate the infection and could possibly prevent you from being fully treated (or worse, it could inflame the infection even further!)
When you get a UTI, take the antibiotics for the full course, and DO NOT HAVE SEX!
azo is a medicine you can get from pharmacy for pain but go to dr. for antibiotics..only way to get rid of uti ..longer you wait more ya suffer..no they are not contagious but vaginitis is and you need to have it ruled out just in case..this is what i would tell a friend and there ya have it...AND for the person who brought up chlymidia,it is an STD not uti...
Well, Chlamydia is a "UTI" so possibly, yes. I used to have UTI's all the time (not chlamydia). I used to have to take all these antibiotics that would only work till I had sex again. When I had a bad allergic reaction to an antibiotic I decided to take a different approach. I will post some links below of supplements that REALLY helped me. If your bf is having some pain too he may want to try them as well! Maybe you can get him to take them anyway just because they are good for you. Anyway, these helped me more than ANY pill that the doctor gave me! Just cut down on the sugar (I know they say drink cranberry juice but when you look at the ingredients, make sure it doesn't say "sugar" or "High Fructose Corn Syrup") it will only make it worse!!
No not at all, UTI;s are when bacteria gets inside of you.You can get it by having sex not him
