"lady part" infection maybe?!

Question: Omg.. this is too embarassing but i have to know and please only only serious answers! ok, so in my lady part as i like to call it, sometimes it itches not all the time just sometimes and other times when it itches, it itches badly, and also the smell is not very good, is not a strong smell, but i read in some answers that bad smell in that part is not supose to be normal, is that an infection? also i use everyday towels or daily protectors (that's what it says on the package) so could that be related?, although i doubt it cause it doesnt irritates me i would say the only problem is the ithiness, if its an infection what can i do to get rid of it?

It is only an infection if there is an odd discharge or rash...

What you describe sounds like what I get... A PH Imbalance related to your cycle.

You have 3 options...

1. Go to Walmart and get a bunch of $2.00 tubes of Vagicane

2. Every time you take a bath, put a cup of baking soda in the water. The baking soda helps correct the ph imbalance.

3. Stop using pads and tampons and try a Menstrual Cup.

Tampons and pads encourage PH imbalances... Pads allow long term contact of the blood with the vagina... Tampons absorb ALLLL the fluids, even the ones that your body needs to stay lubricated and healthy.

The cup allows your body to stay healthy while stopping the mess...

Try these and you will be helped...

They worked for me!!!!

go to your GYN

Talk to your doctor sweetie, better answers there.

it's an minor infection, go to the doctor

Get vagasil or whatever its called they sell it by all the pads and tampons and stuff in wal mart. sounds like an infection.

Could be thrush.... easily cleared with one tablet that you can buy from the chemist

This sounds like thrush, which is not serious. Using towels daily can make you sweat, which can bring it on. You can get a cream from a pharmacy. caneston is good. Go to the docs and they can diagnose it properly and give you tips on keeping it at may. You need to keep clean and dry, but do not use a normal soap which can irritate. Thrush DOESN'T mean that you're dirty, alot of people get it.

Hey there,

Firstly, you should see your gynecologist or even your doctor immediately! It could be a yeast infection.

If by everyday towels/daily protectors you mean vaginal wipes (a form of douches I think? Sorry, I didn't quite know what you're talking about), this could DEFINITELY contribute to the problem! They're supposed to help you "clean" down there or get rid of the scent but the perfumes and chemicals only irritate your "lady part!" You should stop using them immediately, and please see your doctor! Don't try to diagnose yourself because it could turn out to be something else

Good luck!

Sounds like a yeast infection. Its not super bad or anthing so you can go to a pharmacy and get different stuff to treat. To be sure just go to the gynocologist.

It sounds like a yeast infection. All you have to do is go to the drug store and get a anti fungel cream. This will take care of the problem in a week or two.

Sounds like a yeast infection. Yeast infections cause your naturally occuring yeast to become off balanced therefore causing a nasty smell and itchiness.Try eating sugarfree yogurt for the meantime(yogurt helps balance out bacteria cultures) and go buy an over the counter remedy like Monistat.Remember that most doctors don't suggest fragranced sprays, towels,or douches for down there because they are known to cause infection or worsen it.

the beat answers you can get is from a doctor,go see your doctor!

We all have a natural odor down there, if it is a foul smelling odor, along with itchiness, then you probably have a yeast infection. There is a thick discharge that goes along with a yeast infection, so if you have a discharge as well, then thats probably what you are dealing with. The good thing, is that there are over the counter products for those kinds of infections at your local pharmacy. If you are sexually active, i would recommend going to your doctor, because this could be the symptoms of an std. Those types of infections require a prescription antibiotic to treat them.
