Uhhh period? not rly sure?!
Question: im 15 years old... stil no period i think.... well im not rly sure. I know im kinda late... but my mom was wayyyy later. Im rly not sure if i got it today or not.. like i just have that brown gunky stuff comin out... i rly dont know if its just like im gettin ready to have a period... if it was a period. I rly wasnt expectin it cuz i have all the signs to get it soon.... just my mom dint get hers till she was about 18 and im rllly confussed

that is the starting of your period. you should be getting your period anyday now. just make sure to have a pant liner to prevent stains. and it really doesn't matter when your mom had it i mean sometimes girls get their periods when there mom's did but sometimes they don't. just get prepard for your period to be coming soon.
Brown discharge is the start of your period. Put a pad in your underwear to prevent stains, change it several times a day. It will take you months before your periods become regular and you can tell when they are coming so it is always a good idea to carry a pad in your purse in case it starts while you are in school. 12-13 is the average age when girls start their periods and it is getting younger and younger all the time. There are now some 9 year olds having periods.
I've been having a period for about five years now, and I still get "brown gunky stuff" before my periods. Put some pantie-liner on and wait, you should be starting soon.
Brown is pretty much old blood...and yes it is ur period. its normal..i get it a lot & ive had my period for 4 years.
yeah hon u have started your period...go talk to your mom about it...she probably should know about it. just use a pad or tampon for now and then tell your mom about it. sorry youve gotten the woman curse hon...it sucks but you will get through it.
If it's brown, then you probably are! Congrats! : )
Mine was very light and just the brown (old blood) the first time around. (The next time it was red with a normal heavy flow....)
15 is still very normal, I was 15 too. And now 28 and wishing it would leave. lol
P.S. Be glad it's started out light. I'm grateful that my first wasn't heavy and in the middle of a class!
