Effects of recent sickness?!

Question: I recently had the one-day flu. I was throwing up the first night. The next day, I was really dehydrated and weak. Two days after getting this, my period started. I'm wasn't suppossed to get it for another 2 weeks. It was a really heavy flow in a short amount of time. I'm thinking it was just my body's way of getting rid of the germs that caused me to be sick. Am I right? Is it anything to be concerned about?

A woman's body is a complicated thing. A lot of different things can effect your period, and sickness is one of them. If it was only for a short time, I don't think there is much to worry about, but if you are worried, I would consider calling your doctor just to ask about it and put your mind at ease. If you don't have a regular doctor, or don't want to call them, you can always call your local clinic and speak to a nurse (most of them are pretty decent).

An illness can throw the hormones off. Sometimes you may skip a cycle after having the flu etc.

NO! when u are sick then ur body acts all crazy and dose its own thing. ur fine.
