As long as your 100% ready, have condoms and are prepared emotionally, mentally and physically then go ahead. Its much better if he knows as he can go slow and be more gental with you. It shouldnt matter, if he loves you he will be totally fine with it. If he reacts badly - he is not worth knowing and dont sleep with him as clearly he is only after one thing.
Take your time, it seems hard but once youve said it, youve said it and its out in the open and you'll feel much better!
Im 20 and still a virgin, when i told my ex bf he reacted really badly and dumped me shortly after. It took me alot of courage to tell him and i was dreading telling my current bf, but I had to and he was the total opposite - completely understanding and kind and fine with it! And it made me feel sooo much better that i didnt have sex with my ex!
Its completly okay and nothing wrong with being a virgin at 22! You respect yourself and arent just willing to give it up to anyone. Your bf is very lucky and should feel special and proud that youve chosen him and that his gf has something special :) xx

It's not really his business if you are a virgin, but I'm sure he would be really happy to know that you are a virgin. It might make him feel more special, that you waited until he came along to give such an important thing up! Plus, if you're planning on sleeping with him, you should be comfortable enough with him to tell him anything!
He probably will be able to tell anyways, when you actually have sex... since quite often it can be painful and he may notice that you are uncomfortable and new at it.

You are probably a little bit apprehensive about having sex for the first time so if you tell him that you are still a virgin the he should act accordingly.

Just go with what you feel at the time. If you have used tampons or had internel examinations, your body will be used to something going there!! I never understand the response "its none of his business". Like hell its not! my bf and i openly discussed our sexual past with each other before getting intimate. If he is in a sexual relationship with you, then he DESERVES to know your sexual experience, the same way i think that you DESERVE to know his. but thats just me, also yes he is going to figure it out so you may as well give him a heads up.
Tell him. No bloke would be outraged or disgusted by the idea of being a woman's first (you know the saying... all men want to date a sex maniac, but marry a virgin).
Also, if you tell him then he'll be more thoughtful and take things slower. You're bound to be scared by it all, so there's no point just smiling and pretending you know what you're doing.
And he won't know. That's a load of crap. If you're going to sleep with him, you should trust him enough to be honest with him.
I think it will help you and him if you tell him. That way he can be more gentle and understanding at your lack of experience and be honoured that you have chosen him
