the shot was the worst thing that ever happened to me, the longer I was on it, the worse I got. I was moody, I would become really angry, and I was not interested in sex at all. I ended up destroying my relationship over it. It wasn't worth it.

All that aside, no, there is almost zero chance that you could be pregnant. It takes months for depo to wear off enough for that to happen. You don't have enough menses to support an embryo attaching to your uterus.

The headaches are probably just a side effect of the medicine, they get worse over time. I know it seems easy, especially for those who are forgetful, but to me it just wasn't worth the damage it caused in my life.

I got pregnant on this shot and I was getting it like I was supposed to. So, it is very much possible.

Well im not too sure if it'll be the same for you but my friend was on the depo for about 4 months (little longer than you) and then she and her boyfriend planned to have a baby so she stopped getting the injections and it still took them a year before she became pregnant..It takes along time for the depo to get out of your system, thats why they say it can take a year before you get pregnant once you stop getting the depo..but im not sure because you havent been on it for long,go to your Gp and ask him/her..

The chances are slim, but it is a possibility.

Are you still having periods? Mine stopped completely when I was on Depo. Speak to your doctor, or buy a test. That may put your mind at rest.

no

you should not be pregnant

the depo can also work like a morning after pill

is it perhaps the worry thats making you ill

you can also ring the NHS helpline for more advice

i was on this injection for a little over a year. like you i missed one of my injections and had un-protected sex i went back to see the nurse and she put my mind at ease as the last depo will last for a further 7 days after you are ment to have the next shot if you are later than this then they will make you take a pregnancy test before you go back on it.
however i woudnt recommend staying on depo as it made my life a living hell i was constantly moody and i put on heaps of weight and i was bleeding none stop for the first 3 months and then nothing thereafter however my parents forced me to carry on with it i have now been of depo for a little over a year as me and my partner have been trying to concieve, the depo has also made this near enough impossible.
If you are still worried go and see your nurse.
hope i helped

With unprotected sex there is always a possibility, how ever it is not likely. If you really nervous wait a couple weeks and take an at home preganncy test. Or go to your doctor where you can get a blood test which is slightly more accurate.
