The hormones are rushing round your body like mad and your body is not used to it (if you are still in teens that is). This makes your brain a bit frazzeled and you feel like crying, or at some points you feel like jumping in the air and touching the sky!
If not, sometimes you can put on up to around 7lbs(3kgs) in the week before your period, because of the fluid retention, bloating and occasional constipation. Maybe that could make you cry?
whatever it is, im sure it is fairly normal.

One word.....

HORMONES!!!

honey its called pms its all those hormones

Its the extra harmones that make you more sensitive than usual. I get that alot, lol. My dad usually gets mad at me for breaking out in tears because we dont have bread in the house, lol. Its normal to alot of girls, including me. There isnt really any reason to ask a doctor about it. Its just part of your period.

LOL i didn't start the crying thing until after my daughter was born. I also get very angry. So one day I'm crying the next I'm yelling. It drives me crazy. Stupid hormones!!!!

the bad news is it doesn't seem to get any better as you get older either. dam pms AND hot flashes....

i feel that way all month!!
