You most likely had a blood clot. They are nothing to be worried about. It's what the lining of the uterus looks like before it is shed away in the period. When our periods start, the body released anti coagulents to break them up, but sometimes they slip though. Sometimes they can be quite large. Most are about the size of a quarter, as they usually get broken up in the cervix, but it's not uncommon that they be larger or smaller.

You should call your doctor if they remain large, or get larger, or if you only have clotting and no blood.

It is normal. Just a blob of your bloody layer that is coming out.

Its called a blood clot. It is very normal, but it it continues, you have more cramping or your period last longer than usual you should call your gyno.

I think your talking about the gooey thing right? Every girl gets that. It's completely natural :) I don't know what it's called but I know exactly what your talking about. Or, at least I think I do. Lol.

dont worry its a blood clot.

its normal, its a blood clot

I used to get this all the time and the doctor said that it was blood clots. They caused me a lot of pain just befor they came out. They were so large that they were gettin stuck. You should check with a doctor there may be some medicine that will help you. Good luck

Sounds like a blood clot. That is pretty normal.

its fuine
that happened to me when i was early on in my periods
its nothing to worry about
justa little gropss
if you havent had many periods its prolly why

Its a blood clot. Its completely normal. Every girl has them, including myself. =]

I'm no doctor but a few things come to mind. It might just be a blood clot, (very common) during your period, it could be part of a condom that broke during intercourse... or you may have had a miscarriage. Many women have them and don't realize it isn't just a large clot coming out... Was it in the shape of a circle and was there a lot of cramping during this cycle? If so, it may have been a miscarriage

like omg!!! Thats an embryo!!
