What do I do about this whole birth control thing?!
Question: Im currently on the pill and I HATE it because i have terrible memory, and i fear that im really messing up my reproductive system. I heard that if you keep messing up with the pills then you could become sterile in the future! My mom and doctor refuses to put me on the shot...the patch is a no no, so what do i do?

The pill is NOT going to cause you to become sterile.
Get used to taking the pill at the same time everday. I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to take mine.
If the pill isn't something you can train yourself into taking at the same time, discuss other options with your doctor.
NuvaRing maybe??, other then that I can only thing of barrier methods such as condoms. You need to have had one kid before you can get a IUD, so that's out of the question. Your options are limited.
Set your cell phone calendar to go off and take it when the alarm sounds, or set your watch to go off at the same time each day.
That is what I do (cell phone calendar) and I used to be horrible at remembering things.
I'm glad that your mom and doctor won't put you on the shot, too many horrible side affects and health issues occur because of the shot.
