What is the gyno like? was it uncomfortable for you???!
Question: The very first time I ever went, I was more embarrassed and shy. It's no problem now, as I have a great doctor who takes her time, and tells me what she is doing right before she does it, and she keeps all of the implements in a heated drawer so there are no cold surprises. She even has a heated lube dispenser.
It took going to a few different doctors until I found one that put me at ease. I was having problems with my periods, and she was the only one who took the time to listen to what I was saying, and immediately ordered the right tests to find out what was wrong.
All of the other doctors told me that my problems were all in my head. She diagnosed me with PCOS. I had one doctor tell my that I had STD's....I knew I didn't as at that time I was a virgin. She argued with me and told me to stop lying to her. She insisted that because my hymen was broken that I was sexually active, and tried to tell me that only girls who are sexually active use tampons, and that tampon use wouldn't break the hymen anyway.

It was uncomfortable the first time i had an exam but its life. Better to be safe than sorry. Besides my doctor is always really nice and she explains everything she's doing or she's about to do. She also continues talking to me throught out the exam which is kinda funny sometimes but it makes it a little less akward.

The first time was really scary.. but after i when in, it was rather fun.. the female doctor was so funny and joker.. But the most uncomfortable thing is that when they insert a rod into you.. it was so cold and... creepy..
