I know that I am that I need to take the pill after my cycle, or the Sunday after, will being on these antibiotics mess all that up, or will it be safe to take? You should call the pharmacy where you obtained the sinus pills. They'll be able to help you.

You certainly don't want someone here to medically advise you with prescription medications.

What if they are wrong!

antibiotics will make the pill ineffective. so you can't take both together. i would just take the antibiotic and then go back on the pill afterwards.

You should use a back-up form of protection (condom) for a few weeks. Go ahead and start the pill when you are supposed to, so your cycle isn't thrown off. The antibiotics may make the pill less effective, but it may take a few weeks for your body to adjust to the new pills anyway. Better safe than sorry!

Yes KEEP taking both pills however, antibiotics can reduce the effectiveness of yaz. so if you do have sex use backup for a month!

2 weeks for antibiotics and in that 2 weeks you will need another form of protection e.g. condom. Dont risk it I fell pregnant that way. Often the pill instructions/leaflet have guidlines as to how long for. If you are still unsure go and see your pharmacist who will give you that information to save you from having to pay to go back to the doctor again.
