Your vagina is very elastic and usually goes back to size on its own. Are you sure you are not just self-conscious? If it bothers you, try kegel exercises. They actually strengthen the vagina muscles and can help control bladder leakage as well. You do those the same way that you would stop urine flow in the middle of peeing. Tighten is as much as you can and hold it for 20sec if possible. If you can't hold it that long, that's okay, just hold it as long as you can. Doing this whenever you think about it will help you feel better. Good luck and God bless.

why don't you just ask your doctor?

It would only make the "entrance" smaller. It won't change the inside, where the muscles are. There are exercises that will "tighten" the muscles inside the vagina. I can't remember the exact name for them, but it starts with a "K".

EDIT: Thank you other poster..."Kegel"

kegel exercises, stitches won't help. Your doctor should have told you do do kegels before you ever delivered the first time.

ask the doc

what the hell is "tight the streatches"
