Hormones and sex drive?!

Question: ok...over the last 4-5 months I have truly NOT been "in the mood"...and only get "in the mood" 1-2 days before my menstrual cycle...help!!

Is this worth mentioning to my doctor? I don't like medicating every little thing, but I want my sex drive back!!

I am 35- the women in my family tend to begin menopause around 45 so I don't think that is it...my cycles are regular..I have a great home life so I don't think its stress....

anyone with the same experience?

thanks

Might be worth it to say something to the doc. Might also be worth saying something to your partner. You have a great home life, but maybe you're bored on a subconscious level. Perhaps a change of scenery would be good, it really can help. I have a wonderful relationship with my partner, but the day-to-day pressures and annoyances will occasionally make it hard for the two of us to connect. Being "out of the mood" becomes a habit very quickly. We find that an overnight at a hotel is a perfect recharge.

I'm 35 as well, I've never taken birth control pills, I keep myself very healthy... and I've had major fluctuations in drive that sometimes last a month or two. That's when we know it's time to get away. I know what you mean about not wanting to medicate every little thing, but it could be something simple. Is your blood pressure up? Do you have or have you recently treated for a yeast infection? Many people don't know that these two things can zap your sex drive very fast. If getting away doesn't seem to help your situation, then talk to your doctor.

I wish you success.

are you on bc?
sometimes they tend to change your sex drive..
i think it is worth saying something to your doc.

Believe it of not, both men and women get their sex drive from testosterone. Yes, women produce testosterone too, just not as much as men!

What causes men and women to lose sex drive? Either a drop in the production of testosterone.....or.. their testosterone level is overwhelmed by the amount of estrogen in their body!

Normal levels of hormones in the human body are measured in parts per million. A small fluctuation in these normal hormones as we age will cause a woman to go into menopause and a man into andropause.

Now, consider this: The Food and Drug Administration, (FDA,) considers the estrogen-like hormones, fed to animals to quickly fatten them up for market, and measured in parts per 100,000, to be perfectly safe for human consumption.

Add to this, that an estrogen-like synthetic hormone is released into food that is heated in most plasticware in a microwave, and you have two sources of estrogen being dumped into your body on a regular basis.

All fat on our body has estrogen receptors that hold on to all forms of estrogen whether natural or synthetic. Three symptoms of excessive estrogen are loss of energy, loss of libido, and a blockage of Testosterone production.

The loss of energy causes us to remain inactive and we put on more fat with more estrogen receptors. Low energy coupled with low libido causes us to not be interested in sex.

As long as our natural testosterone production is blocked by excessive estrogen in our body, there is nothing to counter the estrogen.(Testosterone will keep excess estrogen in check.)

My wife and I proved this to ourselves by taking a natural substance that stimulates the body to start producing it's natural testosterone. Almost immediately, our energy levels shot up, and within a week our libido returned.

Check-out Dr. Al Sears on any search engine and see what he has to say about boosting your libido! You'll be glad you did!

I hate when this happens. BC is a big contributor to a no sex drive among other things like stress and more. I have been there and done that and tried everything from changing my diet to exercise to get the blood flowing. However none of those seemed to work. It wasn't til a friend told me about Hersolution, basically a natural herbal viagra for us. I got a lot of info at herenhancement.com and also saved money on it there.

I was skeptical because I thought the first two things I did would work. Now these capsules are making my sex life tremendously better. It's amazing. Better sex drive and orgasms that are just crazy...This would do it for sure..Ithink every woman out there should try a herbal sex booster.
